Information for Applicants to the Certificate Program in ABA at GSAPP

Completing the Certificate in ABA at GSAPP

Clinical Faculty and doctoral-level behavior analysts from the DDDC teach graduate level courses in applied behavior analysis through the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University. Students are admitted to the course sequence if they possess a graduate degree in psychology or education, or if they are currently enrolled in a graduate program in psychology or education (although it need not be at Rutgers University).

The ABA classes are taught in a 6-course sequence and are approved by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) as meeting the academic requirements necessary for sitting for the certification exam. For information about the BACB's other requirements for certification visit www.bacb.com. Students in the Masters of Applied Psychology program at GSAPP and the Master’s Degree in Special Education program complete the Certificate Program as part of their course requirements.
