Division of Educational Services
The Division of Educational Services provides the DDDC community with various supports. The Division is actively involved with the School Program and works closely with the Division of Research and Training. The Division of Educational Services:
  • Coordinates the development of the Annual Professional Development Plan for Teachers and School Leaders
  • Ensures that certified staff meet the New Jersey State Standards for Highly Qualified Status
  • Coordinates staff performance evaluations for the School Program
  • Collaborates in curriculum development
  • Ensures that staff training experiences meet State Regulations for Teachers and Educational Services Personnel
  • Coordinates New Jersey State Testing, including Alternate Proficiency Assessments
  • Ensures compliance with government regulations
  • Collaborates in the development of instructional and procedural manuals for the School Program
  • Develops the annual School Program calendar
  • Coordinates School Program activities, such as parent meetings and fieldwork student assignments
  • Acts as a liaison to the parent-teacher organization, DOORS
