Asperger's Disorder College Program at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey
The College Program for students with Asperger's Disorder is under the auspices of the Division of Outreach Services at The Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center (DDDC). Students must meet the admission requirements for the various college programs at Rutgers University, should have acquired basic independent living skills and must be motivated to contribute as full partners in their college experience. Students must apply for separate admission into the Asperger's Disorder program as the program is supported through a separate charge which is billed through the DDDC independently of tuition and fees at the University. The Asperger's College Program works closely with the Office of Disability, the Counseling Center and Residence Life to provide full support services to students.
