Home Based Services provide training for parents and direct services for learners with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in their home allowing learners to benefit from intensive behavioral intervention using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Home Based Programs include the following:
Intensive Behavioral Intervention
- A team of professionals to include a Program Coordinator who provides clinical
oversight and supervision to staff and Direct Service Providers responsible
for intensive teaching
- A minimum of 10 hours per week of individualized instruction
- Initial and ongoing assessment to identify goals and objectives
- Implementation of a curriculum utilizing the principles of ABA, Verbal Behavior
Classification System for teaching language, Natural Environment Teaching, and
Fluency Based Instruction
- Data Analysis to monitor progress
- Monthly team clinics to review educational programs, monitor progress, and supervise staff
- Written educational reports provided four times per year
