Behavior Technicans - Registered Behavior Therapist

Location: Throughout the state of New Jersey. $17 - $27 Per Hour

We are currently hiring ABA Therapists (RBT's) that are looking to use their training and skills to make a difference in a child's life. Additionally, professional development and ongoing supervision in the emerging field of ABA is available, amounting to a rewarding experience helping children and families reach their full potential.

What is an ABA Therapist - Behavior Therapist?

Under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), a Behavior Therapist uses prompting and positive reinforcement to help individuals with autism develop and build upon skills that will help them be as independent as possible throughout their lives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions to clients in natural environments.

• Data collection, analysis and preparation for presentation
• Coordinate with other program staff to ensure program consistency.
• Provide feedback to parents and guardians regarding daily activities of client.

WHAT YOU NEED:

We are currently looking for therapists with ABA experience.

• High School diploma or equivalent, and/or up to 4 years of relevant office, clerical, bookkeeping, library assistant or related experience depending on the duties to be performed.
• An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the experience requirement.
• Willingness to learn and receive feedback on performance
• Willingness to follow instructions and ask questions
• Demonstrate a passion for working with clients with developmental and social challenges.
• Comfortable working in a team environment, or independently depending on the program
• Valid driver's license and use of personal  vehicle to travel to client's home.
• Experience:
  • Applied behavior analysis: 6 months of prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in an ABA setting

Hourly Pay-$17 -$27 Per Hour

 

 

 

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Location: Throughout the state of New Jersey.| $70.00-$85.00 Per Hour

Douglass Outreach is a leading provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children on the autism spectrum from birth to age 21. We offer expert treatment, innovative techniques, and compassionate, child-centered care, scheduled at the families’ convenience. We provide services throughout the state of New Jersey.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide direct/indirect BCBA supervision to behavioral therapists assigned to cases.

• Design ABA curriculum plans, review, and update on a regular basis.
• Design behavior intervention plans.
• Clinically review reports and session notes on a regular basis.
• Analyze ABA data and implement data-driven program changes.
• Write reports summarizing data and progress for each client supervised.
• Regular communication with parents
• Coordinate with Program Manager to maintain quality of cases.
• Offer suggestions of incorporating individualized goals into family’s daily routine.
• Provide parent and staff training.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:
BCBA certification given by the BACB

• Experience with working with children with autism
