The DDDC held its first-ever virtual graduation ceremony on June 19th to honor graduates under the social distancing guidelines of the coronavirus pandemic. The virtual ceremony consisted of digital commencements, comments from staff, and family and friends to helped mark the occasion.
Although students, their families, and friends felt sad and were disappointed that graduates coulldn't have the typical in person celebration our virual celebrations left many who attended "teary eyed" and so proud of the graduates and their families.
